The required total memory for Google Earth is 512 MB. In the About This Mac dialog is a line marked Memory.Check to see if your computer meets the requirement. For conversion purposes, 1024 MHz = 1 GHz, so this requirement is roughly equivalent to 1230 Mhz. The required CPU speed for Google Earth is 1.2 GHz. In the About This Mac dialog is a line marked Processor.If the version number is less than 10.4, you will need to purchase the latest version of Mac OS X from Apple.If the version number is 10.4.0 or higher, but less than 10.4.5, click on the Software Update button to update your computer to the latest version of Mac OS X 10.4.If this version number is 10.4.5 or higher, you meet the OS requirements for Google Earth. Under the text Mac OS X will be a version number for your operating system.Select About This Mac from the Apple Menu.Click on the Apple logo in the upper-left corner of your display.
